- Who is Meriem?
- Meriem is a young woman in her thirties, French, with Moroccan roots, who has lived in New York for three years. Passionate about urban culture, she is in charge of operations for Trace TV in North America. Meriem is very close to her father and has a loving close relationship with her mother, Jany, artist and painter.
- Why is she an inspiration?
- Meriem’s curiosity and passion for music and media have pushed her to accomplish a challenge full of life and promises, settling in the heart of urban culture, meeting influential artists in their own environment, and most of all relating, through her writing and her work, all the things she discovers in New York. Her sense of sharing is inspirational and going even further, she explores it in her must read blog, ‘The Travelin’ Girl’, relating ‘the urban chronicles of a Parisian in New York’. Meriem has also started the writing of her first book.
- Which subjects are you going to tackle?
- We will discover Meriem’s life in Brooklyn, look into Trace TV which she represents there and share her passion for writing, social media like Twitter and the beauty of the English language. Our meeting took place in Brussels.
Meriem est étonnante de vitalité et de compétence dans son travail. Elle en parle avec beaucoup d’aisance et c’est agréable de la voir nous raconter ces nouveaux moyens de communication comme un moyen de partage avec les autres de sa vie mouvementée. Merci Meriem !
Rafraichissant!
