Ok, Ok, Ok- Brace yourselves! November 23rd is the opening of the collaboration at H&M, so if you did not know get into the frenzy….. It is happening now in a H&M store near you.
Don’t try and be too cool for school, and miss it with a kind of– “yea, I don’t do High street”….
You will regret it later!
Albert Elbaz, the creative director of Lanvin, has agreed to collaborate with the high street giants, H&M. This is real and direct! Tuesday 23rd November is the Europe launch!
It launched in the US on Saturday 20th November, and there were stores in New York who were sold out after the first hour! (Why did they get it first? Hmmmmm)
It is a collection for Women and men. The women’s collection is pretty comprehensive for a mini capsule collection. And there is even a little something for guys; the best things here are the electric coloured shoes and the bow ties!
But ladies, Dresses! Dresses!!!
These are the must have style statements of the year. And they are here in this collection.
One shoulder, satin, ruffles, clever prints, tutus and frills and plenty of glamour.
If you get on of these 2010 style items it will be the envy of all your collegues!! Or at least mine!
There are 21 dresses to choose from, not bad I think?
Go for the black one shoulder ruffle.
Classy- timeless and most like the original Lanvin styles( Shhhhhh, most people will never know the difference!) dress it up with a blend of chic luxury, with some fine black tights, a simple clutch bag and a sophisticated party hat detail. Don’t forget the killer heels as this should be a dress of high uptown magnitude! Some Christian Laboutin, would be perfect! But otherwise some black lacquer or refined shine lizard will also do the trick.
Just remember to finish with the winter statement…………………….… A touch of Red.
