Thank you for opening the first blog in the serie of ‘Tonalités d’un Homme’.
A blog from the sound of a man.
A man who is in touch with his feminine side and is balancing his natural Alpha male instincts. A man who is transforming them into actions which embrace his soft skills. Yes this is real, it is an insight into the modern thinking male mind.
In my blog communication to you, we will discover that this blog is really about “What Women Should Know”.
Dear Sonia,
I wanted to share my experience with you.
I was always very ambitious and worked very hard, doing 1 and a half degrees, one academic and one in the arts,so all in all, 6 years of higher education, followed by several years working really long hours for all the british top designers, designing all their collections (fabrics and effects),and it was a huge dilhema and sacrifice career wise stopping and even working part time as i knew that to get back to that position again is impossible and to move on now is going to be really hard going!!!( I intend to go back to work next year )
But i am so glad that i did decide to work part time and then eventually stop for a few years when i had all 3 at home,i have no regrets.
I have learnt a lot in that time not only about life and about people but also about myself, and I feel as though I have changed as well as a person for the better.(My husband might disagree!!!)
Next year will be a huge challenge because I feel as though I am almost going to have to go back to beginning again career wise, and in fact I have wondered whether to retrain in something else!!
Life is based on a revolving manege and things are thrown at you from all directions ,and some you grab and hold onto and others you let go and drop or change. That is what makes life so interesting though.
Women work extremely hard and it is tough balancing both work and personel life, women deserve medals, big gold ones encrusted in diamonds!!!
Anyway it is nice to be celebrated and having a day dedicated to us .
Love Leigh xx
