The future of Design

The Arnhem Mode Biennale in The Netherlands is a spectacle of interactive futuristic vision on art design and fashion.
Here, colour, form and movement combine to create a unique journey through design statements.

There were 3 key points that I choose to highlight in the statement of future design. Interactive, Emotional and Advanced Art.
The future of fashion is blended in each of these three elements.

The entrance to the multi room visions is through creative black void where a footpath, the walls and ceiling blend and form a mesmerizing twisting and turning route through imagination. A route and signature through the exhibition that turns and twists throughout creating a connection between people and the art it presents.

Welcome to Amber.
Amber is fashion alive.
She is colour, scent, imagination, passion, freedom, and energy.
She is in your mind and in reality.
Amber is everything that is seductive and alluring from fashion.
She is ever changing, renewed, and familiar.
Amber is demanding constant change.
Amber is persuasive and at the same time intimidated.
Amber is fragile and dominating.

The message from the Arnhem Mode Biennale is to look at all the side of fashion as if it were a person, a female transforming our opinion into an interactive communication with art- fashion.

And the first is the most important. Interactive.
‘Six Sense’ were in the first section of the exhibition in the Biennale presentation, where the agency Six Sense, had combined 6 diffusers of unique scents through humidifiers each with a specific scent – note. Individually stimulating they also interact with each other creating 1 unique fragrance- Amber- the creation of fashion in a smell.

The fragrance was totally capturing the mood and feeling of fresh creativity.
And the uniqueness of the blend of all the scents was a new form of art in motion.

There is a cool connection with purity and freshness that I have seen in other exhibitions recently.
Milan ‘Salone di Mobile’, also had a display where the visitors were interactive through a diffusion of micro water particles and air, creating an interactive refreshment.

I believe this is the future of retail.
Develop your own smell and create a signature imprint in the mind of the consumer.
Subtle, inoffensive, stimulatory signatures.
How would you like to be remembered?
What will be the inexplicable reason for people to enjoy your environment.
It is all about the scent. The scent of fashion.
